Position Summary

An exciting career opportunity exists for a full-time Head Mechanic to join our Golf Course Maintenance team at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club. As a member of the Golf Course Maintenance team, you will manage, conduct and oversee all repairs, service and maintenance of golf course machinery, equipment and vehicles.

The successful applicant will be a confident, motivated individual, able to perform well autonomously. Some of the tasks include ensuring all equipment is in safe working condition and, if not, removing it from use until repaired. The role requires training staff in the safe operation of equipment, organising spare parts to limit down-time and keeping accurate records of service, repair, parts and equipment.

The following criteria is essential:

• Ability to work in a large team
• Ability to troubleshoot situations and make decisions on the run
• Excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising attitude towards quality of workmanship
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills (essential)
• Ability to manage our workplace safety platform EPAR
• Availability to work weekends when required
• Current, valid driver’s license
