Statement of Commitment
This multi-year accessibility plan outlines Employment Hero’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment by providing accessible services to all. We prioritize the well-being and dignity of everyone who interacts with our services, striving to ensure independence and respect for all. We are dedicated to removing barriers and fulfilling the accessibility requirements set out in applicable accessibility legislation.
We are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, and this plan outlines our strategy to prevent and remove barriers and meet the requirements under applicable accessibility legislation, including our initiatives regarding:

Information and Communication
Employment Hero will:
- Ensure we meet the Wide Web Consortium Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) guidelines and criteria to the extent required by applicable accessibility legislation.
- Ensure Employment Hero notifies the public and provides, on request, accessible formats and supports for people with disabilities in a timely manner.
Employment
- Accessibility Commitment: Employment Hero is dedicated to an accessible and inclusive workplace, providing necessary accommodations for all employees and those during the recruitment process.
- Accessible Communication: We ensure that all communication and information are available in accessible formats tailored to individual needs.
- Supportive Growth: We consider disabilities and accommodation needs in performance management and career development, ensuring everyone can succeed.
- Accommodation Process: We have clear processes in place to support accommodation requests during employment and after returning from leave.
This plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years.
Policies and Training
Employment Hero has and will continue to implement policies, practices, and training initiatives in accordance with applicable accessibility legislation by taking the following steps:
- Maintaining policies that outline our commitment to accessibility for clients and our people internally.
- Ensure that timely training is provided to all necessary persons to meet its requirements under applicable accessibility and human rights legislation. We will maintain records of such training.
- Implementing a statement of our organizationʼs commitment to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable accessibility legislation.
- A Workplace Emergency Response Plan will be provided to employees who have indicated to our Performance Operations team that they have a disability and require assistance in the event of an emergency at our Toronto HQ office.
Design of Public Spaces
Employment Hero is committed to ensuring that our public spaces meet accessibility standards by taking the following steps:
- Employment Hero does not have any plans for new construction or significant redevelopment of its Toronto HQ office to which the Design of Public Spaces Standard of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation is applicable.
- For any future plans to which this Standard would be applicable, however, Employment Hero will comply with the required responsibilities under this Standard.
Client Feedback
- Employment Hero is committed to embedding accessibility standards into our client feedback processes. We are proud to have introduced our Accessible Client/Customer Service Policy, which outlines how we ensure our services and training programs remain accessible to all clients.

Employment Hero is committed to ensuring that our feedback processes align with accessibility standards by taking the following steps:
- Gathering feedback from our employees, clients, and the public is key to our commitment to accessibility.
- Information on how to provide feedback is available on our internal intranet, and we are committed to monitoring and responding to feedback promptly.
