QA Tester – Remote

Summary:

As a QA Tester in the Health & Safety industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. This part-time position based in Toronto, Ontario, is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to start their career in quality assurance. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall safety and effectiveness of our offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project specifications and provide feedback.
• Document and report defects, and track their resolution through to completion.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and share insights on quality improvements.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
