At Nightwind Treatment Centre, we believe every young person can succeed when given the right support, structure, and relationships. Many of the youth we support have experienced trauma, loss, or instability. Our role is to provide a safe environment where they can heal, develop life skills, and build confidence for the future. The Youth Success Manager is responsible for staff training, behaviour planning for youth experiencing difficulty, coaching Youth Care Workers to best meet the needs of persons-served, and supporting referrals on behalf of the Service Team. This position works alongside the Executive Director to ensure high quality programming for all youth.
What You’ll Do
The Youth Success Manager supports our residential treatment programs by:
- Providing staff training and coaching Youth Care Workers to best meet the needs of persons-served.
- Providing intake services to ensure appropriate referrals into the program.
- Developing behaviour plans for youth who have challenges.
- Deploying services to challenging situations to ensure success of youth in the program working alongside PAs and program supervisors.
- Supporting program leadership with effective transitions in, between and out of NWTC programs.
- Serving as the lead for intakes and being accountable to the occupancy rates of the organization.
Work Environment
This role takes place across all of our residential treatment and group care settings.

You are an excellent communicator who can promote positivity and hopefulness with persons-served, colleagues, stakeholders, and members of the public.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Knowledge and experience with indigenous culture.
- Experience working with indigenous children and youth in care is essential.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of behaviour support experience.
- At least 3 years of experience serving in a multidisciplinary team support youth with complex needs.
