Description

We are seeking a Customer Experience Attendant for our Gastown location. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure smooth entry and exit procedures, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality management. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and guests, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Compensation – Base Salary: $17.85/hour + tips

Responsibilities

  • Maintain visible presence at the store entrance and exterior.
  • Observe and report safety concerns or incidents to management.
  • Use de-escalation techniques to handle tense situations.
  • Assist customers with guidance or minor inquiries when appropriate.
  • Perform light storefront cleaning (sweeping entrance, litter pickup).
  • Communicate observations and incidents accurately to management.
  • Assist staff for the closing.

Qualifications

  • Calm, professional demeanor and strong situational awareness.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to complete First Aid / CPR certification (company funded if needed).
  • Previous customer experience attendant, host or any related experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Gastown / high-traffic urban environments.
