Jackman Eye Institute is seeking a Medical Retina Specialist for a 3-6 month locum position in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. What You’ll Do
- Provide high-volume medical retina care
- Perform and manage intravitreal injection therapy
- Diagnose and treat age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
- Manage diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular diseases
- Assess and treat complex medical retina conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Optionally participate in comprehensive ophthalmology clinics
What You’ll Bring
- MD with specialization in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Medical Retina preferred
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Ability to work efficiently within a high-volume practice environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
