This role
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be working with our engineering team and a global product squad and will be instrumental in building highly scalable, robust, and innovative features across our entire ecosystem.
(Note: We primarily use Ruby on Rails and React.js. If you’re not deeply familiar with Ruby, no worries—we care much more about your core engineering patterns and full-stack architecture skills, and provide dedicated up-skilling!)
Your key focus areas will be
End-to-End Feature Delivery: Guiding your squad to design, scope, and deploy high-impact, full-stack features that solve real customer needs.
System Reliability & Health: Proactively identifying SaaS application pain points, scaling system architecture, and ensuring absolute security and stability.
Engineering Mentorship: Fostering a high-performance culture by coaching junior and intermediate engineers to level up their skills.
This will include

Full-Stack Implementation: Collaborating with your engineering squad to design, implement, and deploy scalable features across our Rails and React ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Translation: Partnering closely with a global team of designers, product managers, and UX specialists to turn abstract business needs into elegant technical solutions.

Technical Leadership & Review: Reviewing code, providing constructive feedback, mentoring team members, and actively driving knowledge sharing across squads.

System Optimization: Navigating a complex SaaS ecosystem to identify performance bottlenecks and proactively implementing mitigation strategies or process improvements.

Quality & Automated Testing: Writing robust automated tests for production code and taking absolute ownership of application reliability and root-cause analysis.

Continuous Stack Up-skilling: Actively participating in our dedicated training programs to smoothly transition into and master our core technology stack.
Who you are

Senior Technical Expertise: Senior-level software engineering capabilities and deep architectural knowledge (typically 6+ years of experience, though we value skill over resume years).

Language-Agnostic Backend Mastery: Proficiency in at least one major backend language/framework (e.g., Python, Java, PHP, Node.js) and the strong engineering fundamentals to quickly learn Ruby on Rails.

Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on experience building web applications using modern frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.

SaaS & Cloud Delivery: A strong track record of implementing, maintaining, and deploying complex, full-stack cloud web architectures using Agile methodologies.

Collaborative Mentorship: A team-first mindset with fluent English communication skills and a passion for mentoring and elevating the engineers around you.

UK Work Eligibility: Current residency in the United Kingdom and legal eligibility to work in the UK.
