The Opportunity

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner supports a designated client group by building strong relationships, learning the business, and understanding internal needs. The role provides strategic consulting, coaching, and HR advice to leaders across core areas including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations. Working in a complex unionized environment with multiple collective agreements, the HR Business Partner supports labour relations through grievance handling, labour-management meetings, and interpretation and application of collective agreements. The role also supports workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and agreements.
