Job Title: Wire Cutter

Job Type: Temporary ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent

Location: Kingston, ON

Shifts: Monday – Friday

Hours: Morning and Afternoon Shifts – 8:00am-4:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm – must be flexible to work both

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

This role supports production operations within a manufacturing/warehouse environment. This positon involves sorting, cutting, and preparing cable orders with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is able to perform basic math for measurements and is detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Sort cable by size and type
• Cut wire and cable to specified lengths based on order requirements
• Remove outer armor and strip insulation
• Package completed orders for shipping
• Follow instructions from the onsite supervisor
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse, production, or general labour roles
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots
• Criminal background check
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements and order accuracy
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly

Work Conditions:

• Busy production environment
• Regular standing and lifting throughout the day
