Job Title: Traffic Control Person / Flagger

Location: Saint John and Quispamsis, NB

Hours: 7:00am to 5:30pm, full time and part time positions

Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour

Job Information:

This position requires alertness, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and a valid up to date Traffic Control certification. Safety is the top priority in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and control traffic flow safely around construction or maintenance zones

• Set up and take down signs, cones, and other traffic control devices

• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and fellow crew members

• Maintain a safe work environment for workers, motorists, and pedestrians

• Monitor work zones and report any safety hazards or incidents

• Follow all company safety protocols and provincial traffic control regulations

• Additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification

• CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility safety gear

• Reliable transportation to and from job site (must have own vehicle)

• Physically able to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions

• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions

• Team-oriented with a strong focus on safety and professionalism
