Job Title: Project Manager (Restoration & Reconstruction)

Location: Burlington, ON

Total Compensation: $90,000 – $95,000 / year to start + commission per project completed/paid; access to company vehicle; health and dental benefits, paid vacation time off.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm – Project manager must be available for alternating scheduled on-call evenings and weekends.

We are hiring a talented Project Manager to join a busy restoration / emergency response company in Burlington. The ideal candidate will have long-term experience in a Project Manager role with experience completing estimates in Xactimate.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the complete restoration lifecycle, from initial emergency response through final project completion
  • Maintain clear communication and deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors
  • Prepare accurate project estimates using Xactimate and Symbility software
  • Develop, implement, and adjust project plans using appropriate project management tools to accommodate evolving project requirements
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities with adjusters and property managers
  • Oversee project budgets and cost estimates to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure prompt and accurate invoicing while monitoring project receivables and collections
  • Evaluate project performance, including profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates, and resource utilization
  • Enhance technical expertise and professional development through company-directed training and courses
  • Conduct and accurately document all required psychometric readings across job sites
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends, and respond to 24/7 emergency restoration and mitigation calls as needed
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • Long-term experience in the restoration or construction industry in a Project Management position
  • Experience using Xactimate software required
  • IICRC Certifications are an asset
  • Possesses valid G-level Driver’s License
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Adept use of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong customer service, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs
