Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Blandford, NS

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, overtime hours available

• Monday and Tuesday: 6:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
• Wednesday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

The Production Associate will support daily operations in a busy food processing facility. This role involves processing, sorting, packaging, and handling food products while following quality, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.

This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process, sort, and package food products
• Work efficiently on a production line in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain quality standards and follow food handling procedures
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe and sanitary work area
• Follow food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures
• Support other production tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation required
• Previous food processing, production, packaging, or general labour experience considered an asset
• Able to work in a physically active environment
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full schedule
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• CSA-approved safety footwear required, if applicable
