Pay Rate: $17.60/hour

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Shift: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | Approximately 10-hour shifts | Saturday availability required

Our client is a growing agricultural operation specializing in the cultivation, harvesting, and packaging of premium mushrooms for commercial distribution. They are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join their team in a physically active, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with mushroom harvesting and crop maintenance activities.
• Sort, pack, and label products according to quality and production standards.
• Prepare and organize orders for shipment and distribution.
• Load, unload, and move materials and supplies as required.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, equipment, and production spaces.
• Follow food safety, quality control, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working in indoor environments with varying temperatures and high humidity levels.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, agriculture, or general labour is considered an asset.
• Reliable transportation is preferred, as public transit options may be limited.

Successful candidates may be offered permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

This position is classified as agricultural work under Ontario Employment Standards and is subject to the applicable provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
