Job Summary

Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is seeking one full-time consulting Pediatrician, with or without a sub-specialty interest to join a congenial group of pediatricians who provide home-based on-call pediatric consultant services to the Maternity Unit, which has over 1000 low-risk deliveries annually. Our pediatricians attend all c-section deliveries, any deliveries that are anticipated to require neonatal resuscitation, and consult on post-natal concerns as needed.

The hospital call rota is approximately 1/5. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a consulting practice in the area. There may also be opportunity to participate in sub-specialty clinics within Fraser Health.

Staff at Peace Arch Hospital work closely with Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH) and Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH), ensuring that newborns who require neonatal inpatient care can be transferred to an appropriate nursery.

Fraser Health is willing to sponsor eligible candidates.

CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable.
