Job Title: Industrial/Residential Painter

Location: Saint John, NB

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18-$22/Hour

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional painter!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality workmanship and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying various finishes, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming.

• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter (commercial or residential).

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety standards.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for long periods.

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments, including heights and confined spaces.
