Hours:

75 Hours (8 hours, Rotating; Days)

0930-1730 Hours. Monday to Friday.

Salary:

NP35 (CAD52.31 – CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH)

2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000

3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

4. Relocation support

Job Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing Degree is required.
  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program Family/All ages and considerable experience in the field of nursing are required.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and current Nurse Practitioner License are also required.
  • Minimum of five years’ combined general Medical/Surgical, Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience.
  • Experience working independently with limited supervision and in collaboration with the Emergency Physician as well as other members of the interdisciplinary health care team is required.
  • The incumbent must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential.
  • Completion of ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification is required within the first year.
  • A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance are required.
