Hours: 75 (8 hours, 12 hours; Days)

Flexible 12 hour shifts if needed.

Salary: NP35 (CAD52.31 – CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH – Rural Sites)

2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000

3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

Qualifications: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing, successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program, and considerable experience in the field of nursing are required. Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and current Nurse Practitioner License are also required. Minimum of five years’ combined general Medical/Surgical, Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience with a minimum of three organizational skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. Experience working independently with limited supervision an in collaboration with the Emergency Physician as well as other members of the interdisciplinary health care team is required. Must be willing to complete ACLS certification.
