Job Title: Maintenance Millwright – Direct Hire

Location: Cambridge, ON

Shifts Available: Afternoon and Night Shift

Pay: Afternoon Shift: $44.66 per hour plus $1.00 premium

Night Shift: $44.66 per hour plus $4.00 premium

We are hiring a Maintenance Millwright for a production facility in Cambridge. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment to support safe and efficient operations. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and keep equipment running at its best.

Job Duties

Install, repair, and maintain production equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support downtime events.

Follow GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, MSDS, and all safety standards.

Complete scheduled preventive maintenance.

Record all maintenance work in the CMMS system.

Work with the maintenance planner to improve preventive programs.

Monitor equipment performance and adjust systems to help lower utility costs.

Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.

Complete maintenance logs and reports.

Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Valid Ontario Millwright License and proof of apprenticeship.

Two to five years of industrial mechanical experience. Food industry experience is an asset.

Ability to work with machine shop tools such as lathes and milling machines.

Welding experience with stainless steel using TIG and ARC.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Experience maintaining production equipment such as spiral ovens, freezers, formers, cartoners, tray pack machines, and bread or batter equipment.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
