Job Title: Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Location: Moncton, NB

Wage: $20.00/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Job Description:

The General Laborer involves physically demanding general labor duties and working mostly outdoors and in a cold warehouse storage area.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks and containers using manual labor and forklifts
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
• Perform heavy picking, packing, stacking, and sorting of products
• Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the shift
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of warehouse and outdoor work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed mostly outdoors in a warehouse/logistics environment
• Repetitive heavy lifting, picking, and manual labor required
• Operations’ needs and duties may vary from time to time
• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Exposure to varying weather conditions- hot and cold depending on season

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand harsh weather conditions
• Must be able to read and understand basic English for inventory/documentation
• Must have a vehicle to commute reliably
• At least 1 year of forklift experience (counterbalance/reach/propane)
• Safety boots required- all other PPEs will be provided
