Job Title: General Labour
Location: Stoney Creek, ON.
Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Rate of Pay: $24.00/hour
Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

We are looking for a General Labourer to join our client’s team in Stoney Creek. This company is a global environmental services company that specializes in the supply, recovery, reclamation, recycling, and lifecycle management of refrigerants and other specialty gases. Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire and plenty of room for learning and professional growth.
Job Duties:
- Complete data entry and administrative tasks related to inventory, cylinder tracking, shipping, receiving, and operational records as part of the initial training period.
- Load, unload, sort, and move refrigerant cylinders and materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect cylinders for damage, proper labeling, and compliance with company standards.
- Assist with cylinder preparation, including cleaning, staging, and organizing for processing or shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Support production and warehouse teams with general labour tasks and equipment setup.
- Maintain accurate inventory by assisting with receiving, shipping, and storage activities.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards through routine housekeeping.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures, including the proper handling of compressed gas cylinders and hazardous materials.
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and incidents promptly to supervisors.
- Assist with facility maintenance and other operational duties as assigned.
Requirements for Success:
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities is an asset.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or labour positions is an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset or willingness to obtain certification.
- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety boots, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and other equipment as required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift
- Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
