Job Title: General Labour (Countertop Polishing)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $21.00/hour

Location: Wilson St. and Tradewind Drive, Ancaster

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced custom design solid surfacing facility. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar general labour role, experience using a variety of hand, power and measurement tools in a production environment. We are looking for candidates who can interview at our office in Burlington and start as soon as possible!

Job Duties:

• Use of hand tools, measuring devices, drills and other power tools
• Using orbital sanders to polish countertops
• Loading and unloading custom pieces
• Packing finished product and building skids for shipment
• Lifting 50-60lbs consistently throughout your shift
• Other labour tasks as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environment
• Experience with hand and measurement tools – wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tape, power tools, etc.
• Comfortable lifting 50-60lbs repetitively
• CSA Safety Shoes Required
• Must be willing to provide a criminal record search
