Gas 1 Technician

Title: Gas Technician 1 HVAC Specialist- Direct Hire

Location: South Guelph, ON

Wage: $45.00 /hr.

Travel required: yes

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Gas Technician 1 HVAC Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This role involves travel throughout Canada during peak season. During the off-season, the position offers a hybrid schedule focused on design support, technical consultations, and customer solutions.

Job Description

• Preform routine PMs and repair and maintain- replace required parts

• Responds to emergency service needs

• Read and interpret HVAC schematics

• Install, troubleshoot and/or repair HVAC systems (non residential)

• Review systems energy usage and make recommendations for efficiency

• Travel between September and December for 3 to 5 days at a time

• Working with higher BTUs (average being 2.5 million)

• Working from heights when required

Requirements

• Licensed Gas Technician 1

• Ability to travel 3-5 days at a time during peak season. Any ravel documents required would be provided by the company

• Full driver’s license and lean abstract as company vehicle is provided

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to work on call, overtime or weekends when needed

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organization and attention to detail
