Title: Flexo Printing Operator

Location: Guelph, ON

Shift: to be discussed

Pay Rate: $24.00 – 30.00/ hr.

This is a very specific role that could be trained to someone who has previous experience in the printing industry or extensive machine operation. The role requires attention to detail; it is not your basic machine operator role. Full training is provided once selected.

Job Description:

• Follow specific instructions to set machine for specific function
• Operate multi colour stack flexo printing press
• Monitor process and conduct inspections to evaluate quality,
• Monitor machine for performance and take action when required
• Install ink plates according to job requirements
• Load and adjust into machine
• Cleans rollers upon completion
• Work without supervision

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read and write English to ensure proper colouring and sizing of ink plates
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to record performance and quality in detail
• Previous printing machine experience of 2 years
