These values are central to our company’s history and success and will serve as its core moving forward. *Job Description:* Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Airport Duty Manager (ADM) will take the leadership role in the management of the daily operation for Fnyx Aviation, including Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) Services, Core Services and Baggage Cart Maintenance (BCM), at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The ADM is the day-of senior representative for all Fnyx Aviation operations at Toronto Pearson. As the senior person on shift, they will have ultimate responsibility for all staff and for ensuring all contractual obligations are met in full. The ADM will lead a team of Shift Managers overseeing the various work zones, functions, and assigned staff. The ADM shall provide strong leadership in managing our diverse team to deliver “best in class” service for all stakeholders. Job Specifications: * This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of daily airport operations, which includes managing irregular operations (IRROPS) and emergency situations. The responsibilities also include compliance with Aviation Security regulations.

* Full responsibility for delivering effective passenger services solutions to YYZ Airport passengers.

* Monitor and maintain the appropriate Health & Safety standards and ensure full compliance.

* Manage a large team in a fast-paced, complex, unionized environment.

* Manage the staffing level to ensure sufficient airport staff are on duty to perform operations, including adjusting day-of staffing schedules while controlling overtime.

* Work with the Shift Managers to ensure staff/resources are cross-utilized in different zones of work to ensure the overall integrity of the operation.

* Complete and/or review all reports, forms and logs pertaining to operations activities on assigned shifts, including incident/accident, WSIB, daily shift reports, etc.

* Manage emergency situations and irregular operations.

* Respond to complaints from staff, airlines, and passengers.

* Incident / Accident investigation oversight

* Resolve customer service issues in a timely manner with tact and diplomacy.

* Responsible for proactively managing safety & security processes and procedures to comply with airport standards.

* Review key performance indicators (KPI’s) and convey necessary actions if needed. Qualifications: * Minimum five (5) years direct experience in airport operations, airline operations or other related fields of airport management preferred.

* Minimum three (3) years management / leadership experience directly managing a large workforce with multiple operations preferred.

* Outstanding customer service orientation, with the ability to diffuse tense situations.

* Superior interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels in a professional, positive manner, able to build trusting relationships and be a team player.

* Solid leadership ability managing, coaching and developing direct reports, experience in a unionized environment an asset.

* Excellent, effective communication skills, both oral and in written format

* Able to influence, collaborate and negotiate cross-functionally, as well as with external stakeholders to achieve results.

* Strong decision-making skills and effective at problem-solving and negotiating resolutions.

* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products.

* Excellent time and project management, organized, possessing a solid ability to plan and follow up.

* Able to multi-task, manage and meet deadlines and adapt easily to change.

* A Valid Class ‘G’ driver’s license is required.

* Excellent leadership, communication, time-management, interpersonal, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
