Job Title: Driver Helper

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday, Days

Location: Burlington, Ontario – Appleby Line and N Service rd.

Rate of Pay: $20.00/ hour

Job Type: Temporary

We are seeking a Driver Helper for a bulk meat and grocery delivery company in Burlington. This role requires candidates lift 50lbs through the shift and be comfortable with customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading meat and other food products.
• Verify delivery orders against invoices and packing lists before departure and at customer locations.
• Support the driver during deliveries.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures, especially when handling refrigerated and frozen products.
• Communicate delivery issues, shortages, damages, or customer concerns to the driver and supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and loading areas.
• Comfortable handling raw, packaged, refrigerated, and frozen meat products in accordance with food safety standards.
• Other general labour duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with general labour and repetitively lifting 50lbs
• Must be available for overtime as needed
• Must have great communication and interpersonal skills
• CSA approved safety shoes required
• Candidates must be willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
