Dock Worker

Title :Overnight Package Sorter

Pay: $17.60/hr

Shifts: Monday-Friday

Hours: 2am-10am

Location: Ottawa South- Located off of Hunt Club

We’re currently looking for an energetic and reliable warehouse sorter on behalf of a transportation client of ours. Within this role you will be crucial to the accurate distribution of goods to be delivered within the Ottawa and Surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Sorting through incoming and outgoing freight
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Working closely with Forklift Operators and Dock hands
• Standing and walking for long periods of time
• Keeping work area clean
• Reading bills/manifests to ensure load is correct
• Additional duties as requested or required

Requirements:

• Must have reliable means of transportation (No buses)
• Steel-toed boots are required for safety
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
• Preferably 6 months of verifiable relatable experience
• Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process
