Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick

Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr -$30.00/hr

Job Information:

We’re looking for a dedicated and hardworking Carpenter to join our team! Preferably at least a 3rd or 4th year apprentice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

– Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications

– Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, and trim

– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans

– Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely

– Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time

– Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

– 3+ years of carpentry

– Ability to work as a team and/or independently

– Responsible, professional, punctual and reliable

– An eye for a very high level to detail

– Strict adherence to health and safety practices

– Valid Class 5 drivers’ license preferred

– Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery

– Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes

– Ability to read technical documents and drawings
