Job Title: Administrative Coordinator, Human Resources
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support across office operations, with a focus on Human Resources, employee records, health and safety tracking, compliance documentation, and internal coordination.
This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism. The successful candidate will support HR-related processes, assist with administrative projects, and help ensure records, training, certifications, and key deadlines are maintained accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with office and HR filing, including maintaining employee records and files
- Support HR-related administrative tasks, projects, and initiatives as required
- Track and organize documentation related to workplace safety and compliance programs
- Assist with health and safety training and certification tracking
- Help maintain records for employee training, expiring certifications, benefit changes, and other important dates
- Assist with planning, tracking, and filing annual performance reviews
- Support departmental audits by helping track required documents and follow-ups
- Assist with gathering information related to employment decisions as requested by management
- Collaborate on the development, updating, and organization of Standard Operating Procedures
- Create and maintain HR tracking documents, action registers, and administrative logs
- Provide general office administration support as needed
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Completed post-secondary education in Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic understanding of HR practices and employment legislation is considered an asset
- Familiarity with workplace safety, compliance programs, or WSIB-related processes is considered an asset
Additional Details:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday office setting
- On-site position in Kingston, ON
