Who is eligible for the PSG?

You can apply for PSG if your business meets the following criteria:

It will use the software solution in Singapore.

  • It is registered and operating in Singapore.
  • It has at least 30% local equity, held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s).
  • It has an annual sales turnover not exceeding S$100 million or an employment size not exceeding 200 employees.
  • It does not fall under these categories: charities, Institutions of Public Characters (IPCs), religious entities, Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO), government agencies and subsidiaries.

How to apply for the PSG with Employment Hero

Your trusted HR. Steady lah!

  1. Speak to us for a customised quote based on your business size and needs.
  2. Submit your application on the Business Grants Portal (BGP) along with all the supporting documents needed.
  3. Accept the Letter of Offer, use Employment Hero for at least 30 days, and pay the Employment Hero invoice in full.
  4. Submit your payment receipt on the BGP to claim your 50% reimbursement from PSG.

What is the Productivity Solutions Grant?

The Productivity Solutions Grant is a government initiative that supports local businesses in adopting and implementing technology solutions to enhance productivity. It provides funding to businesses to help them subsidise the costs of adopting pre-approved, productivity-enhancing solutions.

Why is Employment Hero a part of the Productivity Solutions Grant?

Employment Hero has officially been approved by the IMDA. That means SMEs are eligible for up to 50% Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) support for adopting Employment Hero, a Pre-Approved Solution under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme.

Can unlisted vendors who are not pre-approved participate?

No, unlisted vendors who are not pre-approved cannot participate in the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG). The PSG requires businesses to work with pre-approved vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of the solutions provided. This pre-approval process involves vetting vendors and their solutions to ensure they meet the standards and criteria set by the grant program. Therefore, businesses must select from the list of pre-approved vendors to be eligible for funding under the PSG.

Is there an annual grant cap for PSG?

Yes, there is. From 1 April 2023 onwards, the maximum support level is up to 50% for all sectors. The annual grant cap for PSG is set at S$30,000 per financial year for each business entity. This cap applies to the total amount of PSG support a business can receive across all its approved solutions and vendors within a financial year.

What happen when i reached my annual grant cap?

If your business reaches its annual grant cap under the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), it will no longer be eligible to receive further funding for additional solutions within that financial year. You may apply for new solutions in the next financial year period when the grant caps are refreshed. You should carefully plan your PSG applications to maximise the benefit within the cap limits. If additional funding is needed beyond the cap, you will need to explore other grants or financing options.

What is the processing time for claims disbarment?

Claim disbursements take up to 4-6 weeks to process.
