The Position
The Program Coordinator supports the qathet Complex Care Housing (CCH) program—a collaboration between Lift Community Services, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Tla’amin Nation—by coordinating daily operations, assisting with client care planning, and supporting communication among staff, clinicians, and partners. The role contributes to client well-being and program quality by ensuring that activities, documentation, and resources align with trauma-informed, harm reduction, and culturally safe practices.

Qualifications
- Diploma in social services, community health, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recent, related experience of two (2) years.
- Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Experience with harm reduction, trauma-informed, and culturally safe principles in daily work.
- Knowledge of community resources and housing support models.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.
- First Aid and CPR
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.
Skills
- Ability to coordinate daily program operations and support smooth, consistent service delivery
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate client care needs within an interdisciplinary team
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments, assessments, case conferences, and related service activities
- Ability to support staff through guidance on procedures, documentation, onboarding, scheduling, and team communication
- Strong administrative skills, including data collection, reporting, record maintenance, and tracking of supplies and resources
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, community resources, crisis response, and client-centered service planning
