The Position

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Administrative Assistant supports both financial operations and organizational administration. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of accounts payable functions while providing high-level administrative support in key areas including Board coordination, housing subsidy administration, and general office operations.

The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organization, and contributes to efficient financial processes, effective governance support, and smooth day-to-day administrative functions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or administrative support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting systems.
  • Experience working with databases and record management systems.
