This role
This role will be a key strategic partner to our leaders, enabling them to activate and amplify their people. You’ll be instrumental in driving a high-performance and high-productivity culture across your portfolio, bringing data-driven insights and a deep knowledge of best practice to activate our leaders. Your role will be pivotal in driving the commercial success of Employment Hero through:
Providing world-class guidance to leaders across your portfolio, helping them achieve their growth objectives at maximum velocityAdvising on our organisational design, ensuring we’re optimised for success and set up to scale effectively

Strategic alignment
Collaborate with leaders across your portfolio to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable people strategies that deliver our business goals, OKRs and BHAG.Performance & growth
Partner with leaders to drive and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management processes, goal setting and enhancement plans.Amplify the commerciality and effectiveness of teams. We are seeking a highly commercial, performance-focused business partner who can lead and activate improved performance across your client group.Talent management & organisational design
Drive talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development, to ensure an internal pipeline of top talent to meet current and future business needs.Employee engagement
Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, ensuring that employees are motivated and aligned with Employment Hero’s mission, principles and values.
Change management
Lead change management efforts by providing guidance and expertise in change initiatives, helping leaders navigate transitions, and fostering a culture of resilience and adaptability.
Insights
Use AI and HR analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leaders, enabling data-driven decision-making in talent management and HR strategies.Local compliance & market practice
Act as the go-to expert on Canadian employment standards, provincial legislation, and market norms, ensuring our policies and practices remain compliant and locally relevant.Partner with People Ops and legal/compliance stakeholders to manage employee relations matters in line with Canadian regulations.

Who you are

Experience aligning business goals to people strategies to drive performance and effectiveness.A strong background in people partnering, ideally across multiple functions or business units.Solid working knowledge of Canadian (and ideally provincial) employment law and HR compliance requirements.Comfort leveraging AI and HR analytics to provide actionable insights and support organisational design.Experience contributing to workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development.Strong commercial and systems thinking to connect people decisions to business outcomes, with comfort operating with incomplete information and making judgment calls at speed.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with leaders across diverse functions.
