The Opportunity
The Senior Solutions Consultant (GTM) plays a critical role in shaping and advancing enterprise opportunities from first conversation through to business case alignment.
You will work directly with CPOs, CFOs, CIOs, and their leadership teams to:
- Diagnose operational and strategic challenges
- Translate complex realities into compelling solution narratives
- Design differentiated solutions leveraging SAP and Rio capabilities
- Build and deliver powerful demonstrations
- Quantify value and shape executive-ready business cases
You will be instrumental in helping organisations modernise procurement and finance operations while enabling the ConvergentIS sales team to win strategic, high-impact deals.

Remote: North America or EMEA – needs to be able to flex across North America and Western-Central European
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Discovery & Executive Engagement
- Lead and support high-quality discovery conversations with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders
- Identify pain points, transformation priorities, and strategic objectives
- Engage confidently at both executive and operational levels
- Build trust through credibility, insight, and structured thinking
2. Solution Design
- Translate discovery insights into structured solution approaches
- Design SAP-centric architectures and transformation roadmaps
- Align solutions to client maturity, industry realities, and technology landscape
- Balance strategic vision with practical deployment considerations
- Support proposal builds and RFI/RFP responses
3. Demonstrations & Storytelling
- Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations tailored to client scenarios
- Showcase innovation (automation, orchestration, AI-enabled capabilities) in a way that connects to real business outcomes
- Move beyond feature demonstration to business narrative
4. Value Engineering & Business Case Development
- Quantify value drivers including cost savings, working capital, compliance, risk mitigation, and productivity gains
- Build credible financial models and executive-level value cases
- Translate operational improvements into CFO-relevant metrics
- Support sales in progressing deals toward executive approval
5. Go-to-Market Enablement
- Contribute to messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation
- Support account strategy and pursuit planning
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and Marketing
6. Ownership of the Solution Consulting Sales Playbook
- Owning and maintaining the Solution Consulting Sales Playbook (qualification framework, demo brief template, proposal gate)
- Standardizing repeatable pre-sales motions and ensuring adoption by AEs
Required Experience & Expertise
Deep Domain Expertise
- 8–15+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance transformation
- Strong understanding of:
Source-to-Pay processesProcurement operating modelsFinance integration and controlsSupplier management and risk
- Familiarity with SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) environments
Commercial & GTM Orientation
- Demonstrated experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or enterprise GTM roles
- Comfortable influencing deal strategy and shaping commercial positioning
- Ability to connect solution design to revenue growth and client outcomes
Executive Presence
- Ability to speak credibly with C-suite executives
- Comfortable navigating both boardroom conversations and detailed operational discussions
- Structured, clear communicator with strong storytelling capability
Analytical & Structured Thinking
- Ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear solution frameworks
- Strong business case and financial modelling skills
- Data-driven mindset
