The Position
The Support Worker contributes to a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment by supporting tenants with daily living, encouraging independence, and promoting community connections. Working collaboratively with housing, maintenance, janitorial, and kitchen staff, the position collaborates with the team to provide direct tenant support, communicates safety concerns, and contributes to a respectful, team-based environment.

Qualifications
- High school completion required
- 1 Year Employment Experience
- Knowledge of the Housing First model and harm reduction practices
- Familiarity with mental health, addiction services, and community resources
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check required

Working Condition and Physical Requirements
- 12-hour day and night shifts in a fast-paced supportive housing environment
- Attends to medical emergencies including overdoses, injuries, and mental health crises
- Regularly navigates stairs and uses industrial cleaning products and equipment
- Safely lifts up to 50lbs
- Collaborates as part of a team with high expectations for accountability, inclusivity, and respect
