Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

– Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

– Prepare and serve coffee beverages following recipes

– Operate espresso machines and other equipment

– Maintain cleanliness of the work area

– Handle cash transactions with accuracy

– Provide recommendations on coffee selections based on customer preferences

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required

– Willingness to learn about different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles

– Ability to stand for long periods of time

– Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
