Description:
Imperial Global Singapore (IGS), Imperial’s formal legal entity in Singapore, is hiring an HR and Operations Intern to support the day-to-day running of the office and its wider activities. IGS is a research institution in Singapore supporting global collaborations in research areas such as Cybersecurity, AI, Healthcare and Decarbonisation. A key part of the role will be to assist with recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding administration, while also supporting general office operations such as managing reception, coordinating meeting rooms, taking minutes, and providing event and administrative support. The intern may also provide support with basic finance administration and bookkeeping, helping to maintain accurate records and assist with routine processing tasks.
This role is well suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and interested in gaining hands-on experience across HR, office administration, operations, and events support within an international higher education and research environment.
Allowance:
$1,500 per month.

Requirements:
Education:
Enrolled in or recently completed a course in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
Background:
- Interest in HR, recruitment, office administration, and operations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to pick up tasks quickly and deliver results diligently and without close supervision
- Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Prior experience in administration, recruitment coordination, event support, or basic finance support would be an advantage
Main Duties:
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and maintaining recruitment records
- Assist with onboarding and HR administration, including preparing documents and maintaining accurate staff files
- Provide general office administrative support, including managing reception, booking meeting rooms, preparing meeting materials, and taking minutes
- Support the day-to-day running of the office by liaising on operational and facilities-related matters
- Assist with event coordination and general event support, including logistics, scheduling, and preparation for internal and external meetings or visits
- Assist with finance administration and basic bookkeeping tasks, such as tracking invoices, maintaining records, and supporting routine reporting
- Help streamline administrative processes and improve internal coordination across HR and operations tasks
