About The Role

We are looking for a VP, Execution/Advisory to join our team. You will be a critical partner to the CCO and the Head of Origination and Execution, leading deal origination, structuring, and execution efforts across the full range of asset classes our Private Capital Markets business deals in — including equities, funds, and other alternative investment assets.

You will lead and manage the Investment team responsible for evaluating opportunities and issuers seeking to raise funds on Alta, and will drive or support every aspect of the deal process, including due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of transactions, as well as liaising closely with legal and compliance counterparts.

Alta operates at high velocity across multiple markets, including Singapore and Indonesia, multiple product lines, and functions such as Sales, Syndication, Technology, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing. In this role, you will help ensure that speed does not come at the expense of rigor — building robust financial models to value capital-raising transactions, supporting the sales team on deal syndication and distribution, and working closely with the Product team to strengthen deal management through technology.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, enjoys hands-on deal work, and wants to play a central role in building a leading global alternative investments marketplace. Beyond execution, you’ll also contribute to broader business development, marketing, networking, and events.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead deal origination, structuring, and execution across all asset classes covered by the Private Capital Markets team, including equities, credit, funds, real estate, and other alternative investments.
• Lead and manage the Investment team in evaluating investment opportunities and issuers seeking to raise capital through Alta.
• Oversee and support all stages of the deal process, including transaction coordination, operational execution, and liaison with Legal and Compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, market and industry research, financial analysis, and transaction documentation.
• Develop and review financial models and valuation analyses for capital-raising transactions.
• Partner with the Sales team to support deal syndication, investor engagement, and distribution efforts.
• Contribute to broader business development initiatives, including marketing, networking, partnerships, and industry events.
• Work closely with the Product team to improve and streamline the deal management process through technology and automation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with issuers, investors, professional advisers, and other key stakeholders across the private capital ecosystem.

About You

• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Deal Advisory, Transaction Services, Venture Capital, and/or Private Equity.
• Transaction Advisory or Transaction Services experience from a Big Four accounting firm would be highly regarded.
• Strong capabilities in company and industry research, financial analysis and modelling, valuation, and preparation of client presentations and investment materials.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, supported by sound commercial judgement and business acumen.
• Established corporate relationships within the regional private markets, start-up, or investment ecosystem would be an advantage.
• Experience in, or a strong interest in, fintech, start-ups, private markets, and alternative investments.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly understand different industries, business models, and transaction structures.
• A genuine passion for private capital transactions and helping businesses access growth capital.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in a second language, such as Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, or Bahasa Indonesia, would be an advantage.
