Job Title: Casual Farm Hand/Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Farm Hand/Machine Operator to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various farm operations, operating machinery, and ensuring the smooth running of daily farming activities. This entry-level position requires a motivated individual who is willing to learn and contribute to our farming operations.

Skills:

- Attention to detail and ability to spot potential issues or defects in machinery

Responsibilities:

1. Operate various farm equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, loaders, etc., following safety guidelines.

2. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery before use.

3. Assist with planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting activities as required.

4. Perform general maintenance tasks on the farm including fence repair and clearing debris.

5. Maintain cleanliness of equipment after use and ensure it is stored properly.

6. Report any malfunctions or repairs needed for machinery promptly.

7. Follow all health and safety protocols while working on the farm.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

2. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not mandatory (entry-level position).

3. Valid driver's license.

4. Basic knowledge of agriculture practices would be beneficial but not essential.

5.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
