Summary
This role is responsible for shaping the brand’s identity, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging, and elevating the overall guest experience through creative campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships. The Group Director Marketing will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals, optimizing market positioning and fostering lasting relationships with key audiences.
About the Role
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and maintain a cohesive brand strategy that resonates with diverse markets in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Dubai, as well as any new markets or geographical regions the Group may expand into in the near future.
- Ensure the Naumi brand is consistently represented across all platforms and touchpoints, reinforcing its unique positioning as a luxury boutique hotel group.
Integrated Marketing Campaigns
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and offline strategies, to drive occupancy, enhance guest loyalty and increase market share.
- Tailor campaigns to suit regional preferences and demographics, ensuring relevance and effectiveness across all properties.
Revenue Growth & ROI
- Lead initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth and profitability across the group’s properties, including direct bookings, cross-promotions, and upselling opportunities.
- Continuously analyse the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to maximise outcomes.
Digital & Social Media Strategy
- Oversee the development and execution of cutting-edge digital marketing strategies, optimising website performance, SEO/SEM, and content marketing to increase visibility and direct traffic.
- Foster engagement through innovative social media campaigns that highlight Naumi’s unique offerings, driving brand advocacy and guest interaction.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and new opportunities for growth within the hospitality sector across each region.
- Use insights to adjust marketing tactics and maintain Naumi’s competitive edge.
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with travel agencies, influencers, and local tourism boards to increase brand exposure and drive bookings.
- Collaborate with regional teams to identify and leverage local opportunities that enhance Naumi’s market presence.
Guest Experience & Engagement
- Champion marketing initiatives that enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring that Naumi’s brand values are communicated effectively at every stage of the customer journey.
- Utilise guest feedback and reviews to fine-tune marketing messages and offerings.
- Assist Group Director People and Performance with Naumi Groups’ attraction brand presence collateral and recruitment to support future talent pipeline initiatives
Budget Management
- Manage the marketing budget across all properties, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for both global and local campaigns.
- Regularly track expenditures and ensure cost-effective marketing practices without compromising quality or impact.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity, innovation, and professional development
- Collaborate with property managers, sales teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and business objectives
Crisis Communication & PR Management
- Oversee public relations efforts and crisis communication strategies to safeguard Naumi’s reputation, addressing any challenges swiftly and proactively.
- Manage media relations and press opportunities that reinforce positive brand perception.
Health & Safety
- Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety by promoting a safe and healthy workplace that acknowledges the contribution of all team members in maintaining safe work practices
- Report hazards, accidents, and injuries
People and Performance
- Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships
- In consultation with People & Performance, ensure timely discussions with non-performance is addressed, using best practice
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of grooming, morale, and positive attitude across your team
- Conduct team member performance discussions for direct reports in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring training and development needs are actioned

What you Bring ?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ senior marketing management experience, preferably in hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Proven experience managing marketing function across multiple markets
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and strategic mindset.
- Highly developed influencing and relationship building
- Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
- Ability to work in a team environment, often under tight time constraints, to achieve departmental and organisational goals.
