About Data2Evidence
Data2Evidence is an open-source real-world data analytics platform built on the OMOP Common Data Model, used by healthcare research institutions to turn clinical data into evidence. We’re a focused team working at the intersection of health informatics, research software, and global partnerships.
The Role
We’re looking for a structured, externally-facing Project Manager to own operational delivery and ecosystem growth. You’ll be the connective tissue between engineering, product, and research partners, ensuring initiatives land on time, partnerships progress, and the team can move fast without losing coordination.
This isn’t a pure coordination role. You’ll also represent Data2Evidence at conferences, support partnership development, and bring back market intelligence that shapes product direction.
You’ll work closely with the Product Manager (who defines what we build) and the Customer Success Engineer (who drives technical partner success). Your job is reliable execution and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project delivery
- Own planning, milestones, and resource allocation across product initiatives and research deployments
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation across teams
- Align sprint cycles, release planning, and partner-facing commitments
Cross-functional coordination
- Serve as the coordination hub between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external partners
- Provide structured reporting and stakeholder communication
- Support scoping, proposals, and onboarding for new research and institutional partners
- Occasionally represent Data2Evidence at industry conferences and workshops
- Surface emerging collaboration opportunities and market signals for the product team
Operational excellence
- Improve processes for release coordination and deployment workflows
- Support compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, institutional requirements)
What we’re looking for
Required
- 3+ years in project management, program management, or product operations
- Experience managing cross-functional technical projects with external stakeholders
- Comfortable representing technical products to research or executive audiences
- Familiarity with Agile and tools like Jira, GitHub, or Confluence
- Based in Singapore (role requires regular on-site work)
Preferred
- Background in healthtech, life sciences, or research software
- Experience with open-source ecosystems or academic research partnerships
- Conference presentations or public speaking experience
- Korean language skills (useful for regional partner collaboration)
- Understanding of cloud and on-premises deployment models

About us
Data4Life (D4L data4life gGmbH) is a nonprofit health technology organization headquartered at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam, Germany. Founded in 2017 and funded by the Hasso Plattner Foundation, D4L’s vision is to make the world a healthier place.
Our flagship platform, Data2Evidence (D2E), is an open-source real-world data (RWD) analytics environment. D2E bridges standardized health data and cutting-edge research to enable researchers and healthcare organizations to explore, query, and extract insights from large observational datasets. It is built on the OHDSI framework and the OMOP Common Data Model.
With an international team, we work together on the mission to digitalize health research. By linking technology and research, we make health data available to research in a comprehensive, digital, and secure way. Our interdisciplinary team in Potsdam, Berlin, and Singapore brings together experts from fields such as product development, digital engineering, data security, and science. The Singapore engineering team is central to D2E platform development and institutional delivery.
We care about Diversity: Many different lives, careers, and development paths lead to Data4Life. We welcome experts from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to our international team, offering everyone equal opportunities to be themselves and develop to the best of their abilities. Diversity, equality, and inclusion are not just nice words at Data4Life – we put them into practice in all of our activities and projects, striving to incorporate them into our everyday work. For this reason, we signed the Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter) in 2022.
