2023 is in full swing, which means one thing – we’re back and ready to share some exciting new features with you! When we say that this year is going to be our biggest yet, we mean it. With that being said, let’s get straight to it – there’s lots to cover.
The highly requested 360 degree reviews feature is here!
We’re so excited to announce that 360 degree reviews are now available to Employment Hero Platinum HR customers.
360 degree reviews compile feedback from a range of different people in the business – including direct reports and colleagues – giving employees a more rounded view of their professional development.
Platinum HR customers also have the opportunity to send individual and bulk review reminders, and allows you to view and print your 360 degree review report to assist with 1:1 discussions.

You can now prevent negative leave balances
Calculating negative leave balances can be challenging when done manually. That’s why we’ve introduced a setting that prevents negative leave balances.
A setting is available within the leave categories, which allows each leave category to be configured to either allow, or not allow, negative leave balances. Negative leave balances are not prevented at the leave request stage, this is handled when the leave is applied within the pay run.
Once enabled, this means that employees can only take the leave they have accrued, and will not be able to have a negative leave balance.

Hiring for a backfill role just got easier
When an employee leaves your organisation, finding someone to fill their role can be a time-consuming and costly process.
Now, as you complete the offboarding process for an employee, you’ll have the option to create a new open position to backfill the role at the click of a button, with most pre-populated information.

You can now bulk issue documents
In January, a Bulk Issue Documents feature was launched to all Platinum HR customers.
This feature allows Admins, Owners and staff with permissions to modify documents (enabled in custom security settings), to distribute documents to selected employees, helping to increase your efficiency.

Bulk leave adjustments is here
Previously, updating leave balances could only be completed individually, making it a time-consuming process if there are multiple employees requiring changes.
Now, this new enhancement will mean that multiple employee leave balances can be adjusted in a single bulk action, giving back valuable time in your day.

An easier way to schedule interviews with Outlook
Staying organised and on top of interviews is essential for creating a great candidate experience – that’s why we’ve made it even easier to do so.
The Microsoft Outlook Integration feature allows you to connect the recruitment module (ATS) to your Microsoft Outlook account and send candidate emails directly from the HR platform. This allows recruiters to create, edit, and delete a schedule from the ATS.
