Role Type
Description
Marketing & Product Coordinator
If you like variety, creative work, digital marketing, product launches and enjoy watching the things you work on come to life, this role could be a great fit.
We’re looking for a Marketing & Product Coordinator to join our team in Geraldine and help turn marketing plans into real-world campaigns. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Product Manager, working collaboratively by taking ideas and helping turn them into polished work by coordinating the people, content, information and deadlines needed to get things out the door. This is not a role where you’ll spend every day doing the same thing. One day you might be helping launch a new product, the next, building an email campaign, briefing creative work, updating the website, helping create content, working with suppliers or getting things ready for Fieldays.
What you’ll get involved in
You’ll work across a broad mix of marketing and product activity, including:
- Coordinating campaigns across email, website, social media, advertising and content
- Helping bring new products to market
- Creating and coordinating content for our website, emails, social channels and Knowledge Hub
- Working with designers, suppliers, photographers, printers and digital partners
- Helping keep our website and ecommerce content fresh and accurate
- Building email campaigns, customer segments, forms, landing pages and CRM workflows
- Supporting trade shows, Fieldays, customer events and promotional activity
- Helping track campaign performance and identify what’s working
- Using AI and automation tools to make repetitive marketing work smarter and faster
- Coordinating product information, technical documentation and launch material.
There’s a good spread of creative, digital, product and project work, so it would suit someone who doesn’t want to be boxed into one tiny corner of marketing.
Who we’re looking for
You might already be working as a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Executive, Digital Marketer, Product Coordinator or in a similar role and be ready for something with more variety.
You’ll ideally have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in marketing, digital, product, communications or a related role
- Experience helping coordinate campaigns across multiple channels
- Strong writing and communication skills
- A good eye for detail
- Confidence juggling multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with email marketing, CRM or marketing automation
- Familiarity with websites, ecommerce and digital marketing
- An interest in content creation and creative work
- A practical, curious and commercially minded approach
- An interest in using new technology, AI and automation to make work easier and better.
Experience with HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video, B2B marketing or product launches would be a bonus, but you don’t need to tick every box.
The kind of person who’ll fit in well
We’re looking for someone who likes to get stuck in. Someone who can take a brief, work out what needs to happen next, keep people on track and follow things through to the finish.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:
- Like turning ideas into finished work
- Enjoy creative problem-solving
- Are naturally organised
- Like variety and learning new things
- Can work independently without needing constant direction
- Aren’t afraid to chase people for what you need
- Enjoy experimenting with new tools and technology
- Care about producing work that looks good and is actually useful.
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have either:
- A Certificate or Diploma (Level 5–6) in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline, or at least five years’ relevant practical experience in a similar role.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline, together with relevant practical experience, would also be advantageous.
About the role
This is a full-time role based on-site in Geraldine, South Canterbury working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Marketing & Product Manager. You’ll work with people across sales, purchasing, operations, design, suppliers and external partners, so there’s plenty of interaction and variety.
If you’re looking for a marketing role where you can create things, coordinate things, improve things and see the result of your work, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your CV & cover letter and tell us a little about something you’ve worked on that you’re genuinely proud of.
