JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales Intern supports the RevOps Sales team in business development, client research, sales preparation, meeting documentation, and consultative selling activities across eLearning and digital learning solutions. This internship is designed as a structured sales learning pathway. During the internship, the intern will shadow the Head of Sales and sales team members in real client meetings, observe the ECSS consultative selling approach, support pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up, and gradually practise selected parts of the sales process.
By the end of the internship, the intern will undergo a sales capability assessment. Interns who demonstrate strong learning agility, professionalism, consultative selling potential, documentation discipline, and achieve a minimum assessment score of 75% may be considered for a full-time sales role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Sales Shadowing & Learning
- Observe real client meetings, discovery calls, demos, internal sales reviews, and ECSS-style consultative selling sessions.
- Learn how the sales team opens meetings, asks discovery questions, identifies client pain points, maps solutions to business outcomes, handles objections, and secures next steps.
- Prepare reflection notes after selected meetings, including client context, key pain points, possible opportunities, and follow-up actions.
2. Client & Market Research
- Conduct research on target companies, industries, client stakeholders, and market trends to support sales preparation.
- Assist in preparing account briefs, prospect summaries, and simple client background notes before meetings.
- Identify potential leads or target accounts based on assigned industries, campaigns, or market segments.
3. Meeting Documentation & Sales Support
- Support preparation of meeting notes, internal summaries, client recap points, and follow-up action lists.
- Help organise sales documents, client information, meeting materials, and reference notes for the sales team.
- Ensure assigned documentation is accurate, clear, timely, and easy for the sales team to act on.
4. Sales Communication & Follow-Up Support
- Assist in drafting simple follow-up emails, meeting summaries, client recap notes, and internal updates under supervision.
- Support preparation of meeting agendas, proposal inputs, quotation details, and sales collateral where required.
- Ensure communication is clear, professional, accurate, and aligned with eLearningMinds client-facing standards.
5. Solution & Product Familiarisation
- Build basic understanding of eLearningMinds learning technology portfolio, including LMS, content libraries, authoring tools, AI video solutions, and related services.
- Learn how different solutions address client challenges such as compliance training, onboarding, learning adoption, content creation, reporting, and digital transformation.
- Participate in internal product briefings, demo shadowing, and sales enablement sessions.
6. Internship Assessment & Sales Readiness
- Participate in a final sales readiness assessment at the end of the internship.
- The assessment may include client research, written follow-up quality, meeting note quality, role-play discovery call, ECSS-style consultative selling drill, and reflection on learning.
- Interns who achieve a minimum score of 75% and demonstrate strong cultural and role fit may be considered for full-time employment within the RevOps Sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communication, Psychology, Human Resource, Education, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferably final-year students undertaking their final internship who are available to transition into full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join as a full-time employee immediately after the internship, subject to performance, business needs, and hiring approval.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal skills, positive learning attitude, and willingness to observe, practise, and improve.
- Interest in B2B sales, SaaS, EdTech, HR Tech, corporate learning, or digital learning solutions.
