About Us
Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation is a grassroots non-profit organisation initiated and directed in 1998 by Aboriginal people with Aboriginal Elders at its helm who came together with the vision of revitalising Aboriginal culture through economic and social stability. Our founders began with maritime training, born out of concerned Aboriginal community members’ dreams to spread quality training to promote economic and social stability to the local men in the community with the dual purpose of spreading and vitalising Aboriginal culture engagement and employment.
Over the years, Tribal Warrior has grown into a multifaceted social enterprise with a strong focus on cultural preservation, education, and community empowerment. The organization is deeply committed to preserving and promoting Aboriginal culture, offering a range of cultural tours and experiences, educating both locals and visitors about the rich history and traditions of Aboriginal people. Tribal Warrior initially started with maritime training programs aimed at providing employment opportunities for local Aboriginal men. This training has since expanded to include various vocational programs designed to upskill community members and create pathways to sustainable employment. Tribal Warrior runs several social programs aimed at addressing the needs of the Indigenous community.
Through its various initiatives, Tribal Warrior has become a model for economic empowerment within the Aboriginal community. By generating income through social enterprises and creating job opportunities, the organisation helps to build economic self-sufficiency for Indigenous Australians.
