We’re on a mission to support better lives for the people, animals and communities of rural North Queensland with advanced veterinary science and compassionate care.
Join our incredible team as we make TVS one of Australia’s best veterinary workplaces, and deliver clinical excellence across the communities we serve.
Each year, we bring all of our team together for an event we call TVS Muster.
Muster is a chance to bring all our team from across our six geographically diverse clinics for a couple of days of getting to know one another, having some laughs, and learning more about this great team we are all part of. It is such an important part of the way we foster our strong and unique culture, and create memories and stories.
At Tableland Veterinary Service, we believe in supporting our employees both personally and professionally with a range of benefits that help them thrive, including:
We have developed a unique, simple and clear system for calculating how we pay our team. This system, which launched in July 2022, is based on a set of objective criteria that all of our team can see and understand. This allows team members to plan their own careers to both identify where they can bring most value to our business, and optimise their own earning.
All of our full time staff work a four day work week. We believe this fosters a more sustainable work life balance, provides flexibility for our team to manage their responsibilities outside of work, and lets us enjoy all the amazing opportunities that living in tropical North Queensland brings!
We prioritise learning and growth. From our graduate development program to our TVS Muster, from our generous professional development allowances to our structured in-house training, learning is at the foundation of everything we do.
We believe that we have a responsibility to be engaged in our veterinary profession and support the growth and sustainability of veterinary careers. We pay for all of our veterinarians and qualified nurses to join the Australian Veterinary Association and the Veterinary Nurse Council of Australia so that they can be engaged with the profession beyond North Queensland and build connections with colleagues across Australia.
