We are looking for a Practice Improvement & Resources Coordinator to support quality, consistency and continuous improvement across our Connections & Funding service. In this role, you will coordinate MSD Review applications, maintain operational manuals and practice resources, support knowledge management, and contribute to service improvement initiatives that help disabled people and whānau to live the lives they choose.

About the Role

As the Practice Improvement & Resources Coordinator, you will support the Connections & Funding service to deliver consistent, high-quality practice across Aotearoa.

You will work collaboratively with managers, team leaders and subject matter experts to ensure staff have access to accurate, up-to-date and accessible guidance, tools and resources. You’ll contribute to service excellence through strong coordination, effective information management, research, analysis and a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete MSD Review applications, ensuring applications are accurate, evidence-based and submitted within agreed timeframes.
  • Gather, check and organise supporting information and evidence while applying quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain and update operational manuals, templates, tools and guidance resources to ensure they remain accurate, accessible and current.
  • Manage document control, version management and publication processes.
  • Undertake research and analysis to support informed operational decisions and service improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resources, systems and processes that support greater consistency, efficiency and quality across the service.
  • Maintain organised, reliable and fit-for-purpose information repositories and knowledge resources.
  • Use Microsoft 365, Copilot and approved technologies responsibly to support quality, learning and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong written communication, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience coordinating documentation, processes and information management activities.
  • Strong research, analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications and other digital tools.
  • Experience using, or willingness to learn, approved AI tools such as Copilot in a responsible and effective way.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, Enabling Good Lives, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, accessibility, diversity and inclusion.
  • Relevant administration, coordination, operational support or quality-focused experience.
