Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Frame & Truss Assembler to join our team in Levin, Manawatu. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role where you will be responsible for assembling / manufacturing frames and trusses to meet high-quality standards required from our Frame and Truss plant. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

What you will do:

• Assemble timber frames and trusses according to specifications and drawings.
• Ensure all components are accurately measured and cut to size.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any issues or defects in materials or workmanship to the supervisor.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Frame & Truss Assembler or in a similar role within the building and construction industry or manufacturing plant.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
