Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
We’re looking for an organised, capable and proactive person to provide administrative and operational support to our Network Operations Specialists, helping maintain the Council’s roading, water and parks networks. You’ll be responsible for receiving and triaging customer requests, maintaining accurate job and network information, preparing correspondence and letters, taking minutes at meetings, maintaining records, preparing reports and documentation, and providing general administrative support to the operations team. You’ll work closely with our Network Operations Specialists and field teams, ensuring they have the information, paperwork and administrative support they need to get the job done.
This is a varied role for someone who is highly organised, accurate and comfortable managing competing priorities. You’ll need strong communication and computer skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work independently while being an effective team member. A practical understanding of Council operations, infrastructure or work request systems would be an advantage, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent support and making sure work requests, correspondence, records and actions are followed through and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a full-time, fixed term role until June 2027.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary for this position will commence between $61,887 – $76,468 per annum dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
