Job Title: Part-time Quality Assurance Assistant – 20 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-time Quality Assurance Assistant. Reporting to the QA Manager, this junior role will involve supporting the QA Coordinator and QA Manager in daily tasks and duties related to food safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be willing to work 20 hours per week with some flexibility in working hours.

5 days a week @ 4 hours a day or 4 days a week @ 5 hours a day starting at 8.30am.

Skills:

· A qualification in microbiology or a related field, together with experience in laboratory testing, would be highly valuable for this role

· Familiarity with Promapp system is a plus

· Attention to detail in documentation

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Strong communication skills

· Experience in this field is necessary

Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular testing as required and compile reports on testing results

· Work with inwards goods/dispatch team to ensure food safety measures are followed

· Support pest control management systems

· Accurately complete all required documents for food safety reporting, action plans, production counts, cleaning logs, etc.
