Rollform Operator

Summary:

Aztech Buildings are seeking a skilled Rollform Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cambridge, Waikato Region. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our rollforming machinery, contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet our clients’ specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Applicants must be willing to work afternoon/evening shifts when required to help meet production demands.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor rollforming machinery to produce components according to specifications
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or rollforming machinery would be highly regarded.
• Experience within the steel, manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
